The
formal front entrance has a circular drive. In the back is a parking
pad with a brick walkway to the kitchen entrance. The Farm Home
has two patios--one on the South side, with brick portico entrance
to the kitchen and views to one of the two ponds on the property,
and one on the North side, with access from the kitchen and dining
room and with views of the mountains toward the West. The property
has been professionally landscaped with the help of landscape architect
Ian Robertson. The all-new landscape lighting is amazing.
The
occupants of the Farm Home will have exclusive use of the swimming
pool, an historic smoke house, horse barn and stables, and horse
paddocks. The newly renovated horse barn has two large heated stalls with new interior and exterior stall doors and interior grating (and capacity for additional stalls), heated wash stall, and heated/air conditioned tack room with utility sink and full bath. They will also have direct access to the river and limited
access to the rest of the grounds, which include agricultural fields,
fenced cow pastures with approximately 80 cows, a large barn and
several farm buildings, including an historic ice house. The farm
manager lives on the farm at the property entrance. The rolling
hills and mountain views are breathless.
